And in December 2021, the method statement of “Slab chair bar” of Mr. Pham Xuan Lap – Project Manager of Ojitex Vietnam Factory – Long Thanh Branch was voted by the Organizing Committee as an innovation initiative that is highly effective and applicable for method statement of slab of the project.

As following, we would like to briefly introduce about the effectiveness of the method statement of “Slab chair bar”:

One of the important steps in the method statement of installing slab rebar is installing the slab chair bar. We have applied the new method statement of construction and installation of slab chair bar with the following advantages:

+ Saving nearly 1/3 of the quantity of rebar compared to conventional method (chair bar).

+ Slab chair bar integrates the stand of the lower layer and rebar of the upper layer to save construction time and easily carry out.

+ Make use of residual rebar 20-30cm.
